Built for the
diaspora.

We started Paydirek because we lived the problem. Sending money home is easy. Making sure it actually pays the right bill — on time, to the right account — is hard. We fixed that.

"Every family deserves to keep the lights on, the water running, and their children in school — no matter where they live in the world."

What guides everything we build

Directness
No middlemen. No unnecessary steps. Money goes from your card to the biller's account — directly. That's the whole point.
Trust
You're trusting us with payments for your family. We take that seriously. Every transaction is secured, audited and traceable.
Access
Financial services should work for everyone. We're building the infrastructure the WAEMU region deserves — starting with the bills that matter most.
Reliability
When your family's lights depend on a payment going through, failure isn't an option. 99.9% uptime, 94%+ success rate.
Partnership
We work with billers, not around them. Our model benefits utilities by bringing them diaspora revenue they couldn't reach before.
Transparency
No hidden fees. You see exactly what you pay, what the biller receives, and what our fee is — before you confirm any payment.

Plans that scale with your volume

By default, the fee is added on top of the invoice — you receive the full gross amount. Alternatively, billers can choose to absorb the fee themselves: payers see no extra charge and the fee is deducted from your settlement. You can configure this per-biller in your portal.

Payer pays fee (default)
Fee added on top at checkout. Biller receives 100% of invoice. Transparent to the diaspora payer.

When does Business pay off?
Business saves you money once you exceed ~2,000,000 XOF/month in payments (the 0.25% saving covers the 5,000 XOF fee). Premium breaks even above ~3M–7.2M XOF/month depending on tier, before minimum-fee effects. These comparisons assume the biller absorbs transaction fees.

Common questions

Do payers pay any subscription fee?
No. Payers never pay a subscription. A small per-transaction convenience fee is added on top of the bill amount at checkout — you always see the full total before confirming.
Does the fee come out of the biller's payment?
No. The fee is collected from the payer on top of the invoice amount. The biller always receives the full gross amount — no deductions from your settlement.
What currencies do you support?
Payers pay in USD, EUR, GBP or CAD (card or mobile money). We automatically convert to XOF at live exchange rates updated every 15 minutes. Billers always receive XOF to their local bank account.
How quickly does the biller receive payment?
The invoice is marked paid within minutes of a successful transaction. Billers receive their settlement to a local bank account on a weekly cycle (or custom schedule for Enterprise).
How do I sign up as a biller?
Fill in the contact form selecting "I'm a Biller". Our partnerships team will reach out within 2 business days to complete your onboarding and choose the right plan.
Can I switch plans later?
Contact our team to request a plan change and confirm its effective date.
Can billers absorb the fee instead of passing it to payers?
Yes. By default the fee is added on top for the payer, and the biller receives the full invoice amount. Biller owners can select fee absorption in portal Settings. Future payments then have no payer surcharge, and the fee is deducted once from the biller credit. Existing payments keep their recorded fee ownership.

No fees until you pay.

Create your account for free and only pay when you send your first bill.
